The area is a popular vacation destination at this time of year and we recommend booking early. If you prefer to stay at VRBOs or Airbnbs, then it's best to focus on homes in the Aptos, Rio Del Mar, Capitola, or La Selva Beach areas.

The venue, Sand Rock Farms, is 12 miles south of the City of Santa Cruz and although the City of Santa Cruz has many hotels and VRBOS/Airbnbs with traffic it can often take 40 minutes to reach Aptos. Additionally, certain parts of the City of Santa Cruz have a large homeless population so if you do choose to stay there we recommend reading reviews of hotels / airbnbs to get a sense of the surrounding area.
